NEW PROJECT // Very proud to share some stills from “Becoming”, a new short dance film I shot in partnership with @sonycine and directed by @andrew.vhs to showcase the Sony Venice 2 camera platform. Please click the link in my bio to view the full project, in 4K!

We had the immense pleasure and privilege to be able to shoot on location at The Getty Center @gettymuseum in Los Angeles, and an equally immense pleasure to be able to showcase the talents of the incredible @daphodilfern who dances in the piece, and composer @_michaelgregorio_.

This was a true dream of a project - a day of the purest kind of creativity with a very small, tight-knit and focused crew, some incredible technical tools, an amazing location, beautiful natural light, and the most wonderful collaboration between artists of all different disciplines. We really put the Venice 2 through its paces during this shoot day, utilizing multiple crop factors on different anamorphic lenses, high speed, and different base ISOs as we shot through sunset into dusk. Subtle grain was added to the final image in the color grading process.

Lenses were a mix of @atlaslensco Mercury 1.5x anamorphics and @xelmusanamorphic Apollo Mk II 2x anamorphics. Full crew credits below - and more stills and BTS coming soon:
