RANDOM but from 2022-24, I was Suki Collins' babysitter. In this time I was re-establishing my life after long covid, and she fixed my broken spirit. This is the smartest dog I have ever known. She would get mad at me for mocking her bark. She could identify geographical features out of a speeding train window. She could be trained to pick up an object and deposit it in the palm of my hand while I lazed on the couch because I was too tired to get it. Once I waded into the ocean with her, and she just ...complied. Her mom was a badass Sagittarius who travelled often and was constantly organizing that I caretake Suki so that she could go to an upstate rave or to her man in England or to Morocco, and it was the best. I had her for two birthdays in a row, one christmas, and one new years. She sometimes liked to pee like a boy dog even though she had girl dog parts (subversive queen) and she is an Aquarius/Pisces cusp with Taurus Moon. Inter-species knowing and understanding is one of the most precious and outstanding features of being alive. Recently her mom moved to Hong Kong, and I think about this dog every day. FIN
