2008-2024
When my parents moved to Florida in 2008 and I stayed behind, they took the cats I had growing up with them. A few months later @kathrynbuckner1013 showed up at my doorstep and pulled a kitten out of her hoodie pocket. I fell in love. She had named the cat Spyro but I never thought it fit.
Over the next couple years my friends all gave her nicknames (the most popular was Paul). I eventually decided to call her Yoshimi for several reasons. She was feisty and would often swat people. The people were the Pink Robots. But there was one robot that loved her more than anything. A robot that learned how to love because of Yoshimi. That robot was me.
This cat followed me everywhere, both figuratively and literally. She's been with me through every move, every failed relationship, every lost job, and never stopped loving me. Even at my lowest, I had her to come home to. Even when i couldnt afford to keep the lights on, she always came first and had food to eat. She was the only thing keeping me going at certain points in my life. She would've been lost without me. My, how the tables have turned.
In 2019 I thought I was going to lose you over a gum infection. It was worth the $2000 to give you another five years, even if it meant having no teeth. She was my little gummy bear.
It's her time to say goodbye. I will always love the best friend that I spent half of my life with. I love you. I'll never forget you. And remember to take a left at the wheatgrass. ❤️

So very sorry. It’s so tough. My heart breaks for you, man. When I lost the love of my life, “Butter”, several years ago. I honestly thought my best days were behind me. She was such an integral part of my day to day. Like, seriously the sweetest living creature on earth! (I had 3 other cats at that point too). I attempted to fill that butter-shaped hole in my heart with another cat, but it just didn’t click. She’s great, just not the same. A few months later, I met another one and it clicked. Then another stray found its way into my life, and I couldn’t be happier. My point is, you will find that love again. Even when you don’t think it’s possible.

❤❤❤😢😢😢oh @callingcascade I am so so sorry she happed away. She lived such a wonderful life because of you. I may have found her in the winter under a car next to the house I was living in, but you gave her a life to live and loved her to the fullest when I couldn’t. You were and are such a great friend and wonderful person. You and Yoshimi (Spiro 😉) clicked the minute I brought her over to you. I know she had the best life she could have ever had with you and your love for her. I am so sorry she passed… she was almost 16! How insane is that!?! I know how hard it is to lose a pet that you raised from the start and they became such an important part of your life… it’s so hard but just remember all the beautiful times you had together. I love ya bro, you are such an amazing person inside and out. I’m so sorry… 😢😢❤
