It’s a lovely display but has nothing to do with Christmas, nothing; not even a touch of holly!

Tampa rapper Billy Adams, also known as Ace NH, is asking a judge to sentence him to death after being convicted of murdering his 22-year-old pregnant girlfriend, Alana Sims, and her unborn daughter in January 2023. According to prosecutors, Adams lured Sims, who was five months pregnant, to a secluded area in Tampa before shooting her in the back of the head. Authorities said he wanted to continue his relationship with another woman and believed he was the father of Sims’ unborn child, although DNA testing later determined he wasn’t. The killing occurred just three days after Adams was acquitted in an unrelated double murder case. In September, a jury voted 8-4 to recommend the death penalty for the unborn child’s killing, while recommending life without parole for Sims’ murder. Adams has now written a letter asking the judge to follow the jury’s death penalty recommendation and requesting that his attorneys not present additional arguments on his behalf.
