Daniel Pirie

This is Jen. I met Jen when we sat together at a Raindance film lecture. We were both dressed pretty alternative and so gravitated to eachother for comfort in company. We got along great, went to the pub after, and stayed friends ever since. We discussed films, joked about a pirate aesthetic when she lost an eye due to surgery, I filmed her album release party, and she bought me an incredible 13 year rum for my 26th (further feeding the pirate jokes).
This Sunday 17th, Jen's battle with Cancer came to an end. I've genuinely never know anyone quite like her, her strength and creativity were inspiring, her humour and kindness infectious, she was the kind of person you wish everyone had the pleasure of knowing.
