Kia ora koutou 😊 This necklace - ‘he whenua he whenua he whenua’ - is from a collection of works I have made reflecting on encounter and change in response to the operational importance of our founding and guiding document – Te Tiriti o Waitangi (1840). Toitū te Tiriti! This collection focuses on who we are and where and how we stand as people within the Whakaraupō harbour basin, where I live.

Te Tiriti is the fundamental framework for our responsibilities to each other and within our environment in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Te Tiriti is a catalyst for environmental rehabilitation within our cultural landscape, towards sustainability and healing of both environment and people.
