one is a space to gather, to listen, to share, to dream. to dream is to think about our desires. to dream is to be able to imagine a greater future, for the collective(s) and for ourselves as individuals. that is why it is the first step.

dreaming is something that i personally struggle with. i am not a daydreamer. because of the worlds current construction, there is not much room for this. so often we are not afforded the time or space.

yet it is so important that we allow ourselves that space, that grace, that room for our imagination to expand and express. there is so much magic and energy and excitement that can come from this process. one that can fill us with a velocity to propel us into a beautiful future together.

i am so excited to share this next event with you, the timing & intention of this aligns so well with the pluto-aquarius transit that has just taken place. i am honoured to have these visual and sonic artists joining me for the evening; each embodies a dreamy, creative, totally unique spark. i am delighted to curate an event in the nicholas building as it is a space i actually have been dreaming of hosting in for years. it feels very cool to use this photograph that i captured ten years ago(!) for the poster. taken in 2014, it is one of my earliest film photographs.
