@tobiasharvey has literally been the one human I’ve know in my lifetime to ALWAYS have and does unconditionally, unapologetically and unequivocally support me in every single way.

I have been home sick over the last week ( at the tail end of it at this point) and of course, it’s the season of a million commitments for small business owners, especially in the service industry who also happen to be an indie brand, or small batch artisan. Lots of markets, making, and lots of admin stuff for end of year that no one else but the owner of small business has to work with. Big biz has entire departments that handle that stuff. Let alone all the stuff that happens in one’s personal life that can set the stress meter to a zillion.

Toby has literally been my rock through every type of crisis imaginable. Big or small, HE is literally the only human that shows up in any way needed. Here you see him at the Holiday Marketplace for the entire weekend at the @guildri for @fieldofartisans . One of my favorites. He is there in my place as I heal up. Who does that? Most artisans would have to give notice that they can’t show. He’s spending his only time off from his extremely demanding job to do this..all day..both days..for me. I DIDN’T EVEN HAVE TO ASK. I had a couple of great friends check in (thank you @brandonward_muah and @hairbyforrestrivers , I love you both dearly). But how super fortunate am I to have a person in my life that wouldn’t hesitate to help even in small ways, to go out and grab me a coffee, even if it’s way out of his way simply because it would make my day better. What’s funny is that I’ve heard remarks in the past about Toby being a “doormat”. Can you imagine? How sad is it that most people never experience not only the love of a person, but their genuine kindness. I’m forever grateful for you, Toby. I only hope to be half as great of a partner as you are…because just that would be so much.
