I’m 4-18 (1977-…) I’m playing in my parents back yard, complete with home run fence or I’m playing at my best friends house in their cul-de-sac with a center island with a huge tree in the middle of the field. ‘Twas awesome.

So many days of playing. We would drive around looking for new places to play. Schools,parks anywhere that resembled a ballpark. If we found a wall of any kind we’d make a game.

Nine to seventeen years old. 1962-1970. All the guys in the neighborhood in Cedar Mill that played baseball. We also hit golf ball wiffle balls with sawed off broom sticks. Those were low scoring games between the Dodgers and Giants; 1-0, 2-1, 3-2. Loved it.
