Went to see the @washwizards and @nyknicks play for my son’s bday gift. Highly recommend the cheesecake @capitalonearena 🏀🍰 we love sports and have been spoiled with many really cool experiences.

A woman’s body spends 280 days growing a baby, yet somehow she’s expected to recover in just 42 to 56 days.

In her powerful poem Six to Eight Weeks, Amy Williams beautifully puts into words what so many mothers experience after childbirth, from the physical pain and emotional exhaustion to the pressure to “bounce back” before their bodies have had time to heal.

Globally, about 1 in 10 women experience postpartum depression. We spend so much time preparing women for childbirth, but far less time preparing them for everything that comes after. No two births are the same, and no two recoveries will be either. Mothers deserve more information, more support and the time to heal without feeling like they’re falling behind or going through it alone.

Most people dance Garba… but how many actually know what it means? 🔥🪔

Garba is NOT just a dance. It’s a celebration of life, creation and Shakti. 🙏

The word Garba is rooted in Garbha — the womb, symbolising the source of life.

The lamp at the centre represents the divine light within us, while the circle reminds us of life’s eternal cycle.

Now you know — Garba is not just performed. It’s understood, felt and celebrated….Jai Mata Di! 🙏✨
