Delighted to be included in MUDROOM @foyer_la Feb 20th-Mar22nd.
Wake, 2025, 48”x54”, Acrylic on canvas (dry brush) was a quick response to the LA wildfires. The fire came within 200 yards of our home and we are now witness to a horror and rebirth of our scorched surroundings. We were lucky…so many we know lost so much and everything…
MUDROOM is an invitation to all the artists who have been a part of FOYER-LA since its beginning. Each artist had the opportunity to select another artist to participate. I chose @elizabeth_huey. MUDROOM in so many ways is a community builder. We are all gathering for an artist discussion that precedes the show. #topanga #contemporaryart #artists #fineart #painting #sculpture #movingimage #artcommunity #laarts #chinatownarts #palisadesfire #firerecovery #newart
