Precious memories 🌞🐢

Magical moments I’ll never forget. Being invited to release baby turtles on a private nature reserve in Indonesia w bestie @hollychippindale . The perfect sunset was the cherry on the top of a beautiful day.

Life is spectacular, and many of these moments are tied with experiencing mother natures beauty. Another reminder that we are the mother and she is us, so looking after her and treating her well is love of all.

The rise of antisemitism around the world is a deeply concerning trend, with Jewish communities facing increased harassment, discrimination, vandalism, threats, and deadly violence. According to a July 2026 report from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), more than 23,000 antisemitic incidents were recorded across seven countries with large Jewish populations in 2025, representing a 136% increase compared with 2022. The report also documented 20 deaths resulting from antisemitic attacks in those countries during 2025. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has contributed to heightened tensions, but criticism of the Israeli government or its military actions should not be confused with hatred of Jewish people. Antisemitism occurs when Jews are collectively blamed for Israel’s actions, targeted because of their identity, or subjected to conspiracy theories, Nazi symbolism, and threats. Regardless of political beliefs, antisemitism must be confronted consistently through education, accountability, and solidarity with Jewish communities, because no one should have to fear for their safety simply because of their religion, ancestry, or identity. #politics #feminism #usa #catholic #immigration
Moab 203.9 Race Recap. Unfinished Miles. The hardest part of Moab 240 was the ending I never got to run. It was beautiful, challenging, messy, and everything I love about ultrarunning. There were moments I felt absolutely wrecked, only to find myself running strong again miles later. We had one HELL of a women's race. @ashkickn was absolutely crushing it. @brogansunemploymentworldtour told me at mile 96.5 she was going to quit, only to rally, share some miles, and then take off. Both inspired me to keep digging deeper. I was ready to throw everything I had into those final 42 miles. I wanted us to have the finish and race we'd been fighting for, both for the podium and the Triple Crown CR. At the end, we still had 3 women in the top 5. Mother Nature had other plans. Nearly 200 miles in, conditions on Geyser Pass became legitimately dangerous. Falling trees, insane winds, hail, torrential downpour. I was told the race was canceled after I was almost blown off the ridge of the last big climb. I ended up pairing up with another runner and our pacers, bushwhacking ~9mi off the mountain because conditions were too dangerous for anything else. And just like that, the race was over. HUGE shoutout to my incredible crew and pacers @ryanmiller34 @warnke168 @expat_mel @victoriaallenthebig3 You made this adventure what it was. I couldn't have asked for a better team to share this journey with. Now I feel a mix of being grateful but also disappointed and a little empty. This was the culmination of a year spent chasing a dream. And with another round of cancer surveillance scans Friday, I was holding onto this finish as a little bit of closure before facing another unknown. I started this Triple Crown to test what was possible, but also to prepare myself mentally and physically for whatever life has in store. I thought I'd walk away with answers. Instead, I'm walking away with more unknowns. But the miles were real. The friendships are real. The joy, the grit, the ridiculous adventures, ALL real. 203 miles. No finish line. The Catholic position on the death penalty is more nuanced than most people think because the Church has never denied that the state has authority to punish crime and protect its people. For centuries, that included capital punishment when there was no other way to keep society safe. Over time, as we gained the ability to imprison dangerous people for life, the Church taught that cases where execution was truly necessary had become very rare. In 2018, the Catechism was updated to call the death penalty inadmissible, because a guilty person still bears the image of God and justice can now be served without taking a life. 🙏🏻 #catholic #christian #catholicchurch #deathpenalty
