Introducing Adelaide City – East End
This project features an original bluestone city cottage built around 1880, located just off Hutt Street in the East End.
The cottage underwent significant heritage façade restoration, including soil stabilisation, re-levelling of the existing structure, repointing of the external bluestone, and the addition of a new veranda with a re-roof to match the attached neighbouring home.
Connected to the rear of the cottage is a new two-storey modern addition with a spacious floor plan that includes a bathroom, laundry, and custom kitchen flowing into the open-plan living, dining, and outdoor entertaining area. It features an oak timber cantilevered staircase. Meanwhile, the north-facing upstairs living quarters, consisting of a master bedroom, ensuite, and study, will soak up most of the daily sunlight through double-glazed windows. Externally, the addition is finished with matte Monument Maxline cladding.
