Katherine will be teaching at the Northwest Basket Weavers annual spring retreat May 14-18 and at the Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network April 4-6. The NWBW brochure is up on their website today with registration starting Monday 1/27. Katherine is teaching an intro to fitching making a small basket purse as seen in photo 2. The second class is a willow gathering basket with willow bark for the side weaving. There are two examples in photo 3. Registration for the retreat is online this year with a protocol that isn’t ‘first come first served’ so it may allow people more opportunity to get their first choice.
