Something a little different this week….
Some words from Steph:
Brenda and I started this project during my return to parkour after knee surgery.
The story is well told in our short film ‘Versions’.
Last October, I injured my other knee and recently got the MRI report. I’ll need surgery on this one too.
I’ve decided not to risk the falls and awkward landings (you’ve seen a few of those here) that may cause me further injury and/or long-term damage until I can get more answers. The timelines for a consult, a surgery date, and for recovery are all unknowable.
Our last reel was #100 and I’m proud of everything Brenda and I have done. I value the time we spent together, the ways we grew in our movement, and our regular creation of engaging edits. We sessioned with many friends and challenged ourselves to emulate people far more strong and skilled than us.
I appreciate the positive feedback we’ve received, the interactions in the comments, and the new/deeper connections we have made through the nearly 2 years we have engaged in this project.

Ugh I'm so sorry! I've been through too many knee surgeries myself and it just sucks. The work you two share delights me to no end and I hope you're able to get back to whatever you want to get back to before you know it.
