12 days until Junior Season is supposed to start, BUT God….He had other plans in mind, and I am learning that even when it doesn’t always seem like it or feel like it, His plan is far greater than mine. In the waiting, I have learned a lot about the game and myself from a different perspective. 1. Patience is harder than my mama makes it look. 2. In this life we are not promised tomorrow, much less is it promised to be a life of ease. 3. God’s love, grace, mercy, and understanding is sufficient, and I can rest in knowing He’s got me. 4. My identity is in Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior alone. 5. He gave me a passion for this game, and everyday I get to step on the field is a blessing from above!! 6. Even when I feel defeated, I can find victory in knowing the One who has ordered my steps loves me and died for me on the cross!! I know God will continue to grow me and show me things that maybe I couldn’t see without taking a step back!! With that being said, I can’t wait to be exactly what my girls need me to be this year!! A water/snack girl, a counselor, an encourager, a “move your feet” kind of teammate, I’m here for it all, and I can’t wait to see these girls show out this season!!! God is so Good!! SMTTT💛🤍🦅
