I used to say that I had no interest in night riding. Because I had no interest in night riding. A couple of years ago after I started joining a couple different group rides, I got stuck in with these groups and didn't want to miss out on that Thursday night. Part of it was the riding and part of it was the people. I succumbed, and picked up a little 2000 lumen light. I quickly found out that for Mountain Biking I wanted a bit more light but didn't want to throw down on another unit, so I switched to the gravel group. From then on I've tried to not miss a @scotchcx2 ride. Sometimes only one other person shows interest in riding, while everyone else just wants to share memes in the chat, but 2 people or 10 people the ride is just as good. Thanks to @gax_mallant for joining last week as the 3rd wheel.
