@scotchcx2 takes on Malcolm Island XC-GG. The road was long to get there but it was a great weekend sharing sunsets, smores, crafts, meals, and wheels out in Port McNeil and Malcolm Island. Great event! And thanks to all the volunteers who make it happen and all the people that like an adventure and fun course that registered to keep events like these running strong! We'll be back! by @spilecki_
Does pushing yourself remind you of how old you are or how old you're not? I can't complain about how it went today, as I'm just out there to have a good time, push myself, and enjoy it with the people around me. We're lucky to have all the events we do on Vancouver Island! Thank you @islandcupseries for being a big part of the community. Thanks for my sponsors @mckay_vezina @gax_mallant @dvunic @kailapilecki_ and @nrg_enterprises 📸: @merin_p by @spilecki_
Pinkbike, where the comments run wild... I really appreciate @pinkbike , namely @stephanepelletierr for taking a look at this bike. There are companies big and small all putting their efforts into something that for them means something and in-turn means something to the bike industry, and it's great to have it seen. We've all seen bikes start to look very similar, thank you Pinkbike commentators for the original "Looks like a Trek" This @veldurobikes Rogue may have the @itracksuspension design that other brands have believed in and also invested in, but paired with an @avinoxebike motor, 165 or 172mm travel, the right geometry balance and an ASTM cat 5 tested frame. It's currently offering something unique to the market. If you want a complete bike to just get out there and get after it, they have 2 price points. If you want to ground up build a frame with the shock of your choice, you can do that too. Or there are frames with tuned Fox shocks. The Velduro team has done their homework. You don't have to like it, but it's a prime candidate for you e-bike hedonists out there that can't get enough. Or someone that appreciates all the ways this bike wants to be the right bike for you. by @spilecki_

There were a couple nice ribbons of brown out there, and a lot of schmooie white stuff. Kept warm, stayed upright. by @spilecki_

I used to say that I had no interest in night riding. Because I had no interest in night riding. A couple of years ago after I started joining a couple different group rides, I got stuck in with these groups and didn't want to miss out on that Thursday night. Part of it was the riding and part of it was the people. I succumbed, and picked up a little 2000 lumen light. I quickly found out that for Mountain Biking I wanted a bit more light but didn't want to throw down on another unit, so I switched to the gravel group. From then on I've tried to not miss a @scotchcx2 ride. Sometimes only one other person shows interest in riding, while everyone else just wants to share memes in the chat, but 2 people or 10 people the ride is just as good. Thanks to @gax_mallant for joining last week as the 3rd wheel. by @spilecki_
