Chef Trainee Spotlight!
Meet Jenai! Always up for a challenge, she learned to whip up delicious meals in a home filled with ingredients but little prepared food. Her time in the kitchen with her mother and grandmother helped her develop a love for cooking, which she eagerly brought to her internship at Left Bank Brasserie under Chef Christian Luxton.
Throughout her journey, Jenai has transformed from feeling nervous about chopping onions to confidently working the line. She’s honed her knife skills and deepened her understanding of flavor profiles, all while enjoying the camaraderie of her coworkers in a fun, welcoming environment.
Jenai now sees work as a fulfilling experience rather than a chore, and she hopes to continue at Left Bank Brasserie after her internship ends as she pursues her college education. We can't wait to see what she cooks up next!
