🇯🇵 Hello from Tokyo! 🇯🇵 After the longest time dreaming about it (and THE most stressful time planning it!), we finally made it to Japan and have spent the first few days here exploring Tokyo. It’s been a full on itinerary so far from sumo wrestling in Ginza to watching the sunset at Shibuya Sky and of all the countries we’ve ever visited this has definitely been the biggest culture shock. I’ve got a LOT to share as you can imagine, and the trip has definitely not started without its dramas - a record breaking earthquake alert (I was literally ready to drop and roll…🤣), a visit to a Japanese doctors (I have never felt more brutalised by a nasal swab 🙈), a whole cocktail of drugs to feel half normal again (all in Japanese so I could well be high on opioids right now and I’d have no clue……🤪), and countless visits to McDonald’s so that Harry doesn’t waste away. I’ll start sharing some story updates later (my Mum will literally have been refreshing her feed for the last 5 days straight 🤣) and when I’m home I’ll share our full itinerary and all of the tips we are learning along the way. But for now, I’m still pinching myself that we are actually here in Japan and lucky enough to be making more memories as a family. ❤️ 📸 Amongst the madness of it all we found an hour for a photo shoot which I’ll share more of later but I love this one taken at a little temple in the back streets of Shibuya. Although Tokyo is manic in so many ways, you can find lots of little pockets of calm hidden away too! Right now it’s time for an early night because tomorrow we take the bullet train to Kyoto for the next part of our trip. I hope you’ll follow along! 🎌 #visitjapan #tokyo #tokyotokyo #japantravelphoto #fivelittledoves Tokyo Japan, Japan family holiday, Japan with teenagers, Tokyo family travel, Visiting Japan, Japan travel adventures, Tokyo travel, Japan family trip, Exploring Tokyo, Japan itinerary, First time in Japan, Tokyo with kids, Japan travel blogger, Family travel Japan, Japan bucket list
