spent the weekend at @lostfoxinn and got to photograph some of my favorite moments around the property. co-designing something of this scale together with my mom has been a wildly special experience. we have touched every single inch of thousands of square feet. we pulled inspiration from the inns of the english countryside, the best of old new york city, and our shared & abiding love for a very, very dimly lit bar.
being there now, getting to be a fly on the wall with the doors open, watching as it comes to life - as guests drive into the parking lot, unload suitcases, pull up a stool at the bar, snap pictures of the parts they love - is really a surreal and wonderful thing.
if you get the chance to come see us in litchfield, i hope you do! i’m biased i guess, but i think it’s the best bar in the world. and that’s not even to mention the stone fireplaces and soaking tubs in the rooms.
