finished 8 books this month - 3 of them being rereads. I was in a figure skating reading mood earlier this month, so I reread “from lukov with love” 🩵🩵 I also reread “you had me at hola” for a book club, didn’t like it as much this time around, but it was still fun! last reread was a sherlock holmes novel because it’s sherlock holmes & im obsessed

my favorite reads this month were “my tender matador” (recommended by @souvlakireads ) and “beartown” (which I finally read bc @literary.gaby keeps posting about it). beartown caught me so off guard - I was trying not to cry listening to the audiobook at work, did NOT expect it to be that sad and realistic 😭🩵

overall liked all of the books I picked up this month, I finally got to read “half a soul” because @taylerreads kept recommending it; I would also suggest it to anyone looking for a historical fantasy romance vibe!! “ace of spades” was a perfect january listen for me at work, there was so much going on, I literally couldn’t put it down. lastly, I read “the days of abandonment”. I think i’ll like anything elena ferrante writes, but I will say I was way more obsessed reading “my brilliant friend”.
