2026 reading journal flip through 📓🩵

After a few weeks of setting up my journal I’m so happy to finally share it with you. I love how it turned out and I’m so excited to start filling it up 🫶🏼 This is my first year using an @archerandolive and using a bigger B5 size 🤩

If you’ve been thinking about starting a reading journal I say go for it! Don’t be hard on yourself and enjoy the process. This is my 5th or 6th year journaling. The first journals are not complete, and that’s okay. Not every year looks the same, but I love this creative outlet to document my reads each year 🥰

✨ My rating system ✨

Hello besties 💐 Happy Friday!! 🩵

I’d thought it would be fun to share what goes on in my head when rating books 🌟 Disclaimer I’m not the harshest of critics when it comes to books, most of my reads are 4 stars and I do give a lot of 0.5 stars because I’m very indecisive and driven by my feelings and vibes 🫶🏼😂

Do you use a star rating system for books? ✨ by @literary.gaby

latinas on my shelves 📚✨

over the past years i questioned myself about why i wasn’t reading more latinas. i was being drawn to the english language but was leaving out so many voices and stories that resonated with me on a deeper level. i’ve been finding pieces of myself and my life in stories written by latinas in ways that i hadn’t felt before. i’m so excited to keep reading more latinas and to appreciate their craft and voices 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hi, besties! Welcome to episode 2 of 𝙏𝘽𝙍 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 📚

🌀 Hurricane Season by Fernanda Melchor ★ ★ ★ ★.5

If there was ever a time when I was going to record a video in spanish it definitely would be when I was going to be reading a latina author. Woooow! I’m so grateful to Fernanda Melchor for this story, which made me feel everything. The horror depicted here is among the worst because these fictional events are based on the reality of so many people’s lives. It left me with a lot to think about and moments I’ll always remember.

The next episodes will also be in Spanish 👀 Thanks for being here and reading this story with me 📖💫

𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐫𝐚𝐩 𝐮𝐩 + 𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐩 🍂

the magic and vibes of the -ber months were present in september. a fun month full of memorable reads and fun moments 📚🧚🏽‍♀️

{la magia y el ambiente de los últimos meses del año se hicieron presentes en septiembre. un mes divertido, lleno de lecturas memorables y momentos divertidos}

𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥
this month i was trying very hard to stop doom scrolling which reflects on how many books i read.

i’m so happy to have read 3 books from latina authors, two guatemaltecas 🇬🇹 both were amazing! and one mexicana 🇲🇽 for the past years it’s been a goal of mine to read more latin voices specially women, the things i’ve read have made me feel SO much, i love reading in my native language and the themes hit close to home 🫰🏼

{Este mes me he esforzado mucho por dejar de doomscrollear, lo cual se refleja en la cantidad de libros que leí.

Estoy muy contenta de haber leído tres libros de autoras latinas, dos guatemaltecas 🇬🇹 ¡Ambos fueron increíbles! Y una mexicana 🇲🇽. En los últimos años, uno de mis objetivos ha sido leer más de voces latinoamericanas, especialmente mujeres; lo que he leído me ha hecho sentir MUCHO; me encanta leer en mi primer idioma y los temas son muy cercanos}

{fui con mi bestie a ver a Natalia. ¡su voz y su talento lo son todo! no conocía mucho de su música, pero ya me pueden considerar una nueva fan}

matilda has been part of my life for a year now. i rescued her from the streets last year on september, she has changed my life. i love her so much🩵

i got my kobo almost one year ago and since then so many amazing books have gone on sale. i have not spent more than $2.99 on these. i’m subscribed to @bookbub mail list to know about daily deals on kobo and these are the ones i’ve gotten so far 📖🧚🏽‍♀️✨

i’m excited to read and annotate all of these. hoping to read if it makes you happy, emily wilde’s 2 and the secret history before the year ends. should i prioritize another one? 👀

Fall TBR & watchlist journal spread 🎃🍂🖤👻

I had so much fun with this spread 🤩

I’ve been great with keeping up with my reading journal trackers, but with my book spreads I’m behind. Reallyyyy behind. I’m hoping to catch up in the following months, in the meanwhile at least my fall spread is all done 😂🧚🏽‍♀️

Hello besties! Welcome to episode 1 of the 𝙏𝘽𝙍 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 📚

This little series has no end date because who knows how long it will take me to read all the books from my physical TBR 😂 I started this as a way to share a little bit of my reading moments and to keep me accountable/motivated. Besides these two, this year I had only read 5 books from my physical tbr… 😬 I was hoping to read at least 25… don’t know if that will happen but there is still time to make it to the double digits 👀 Follow along as we tackle down my TBR together
