A prayer for those who feel alone
October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day 💗🦋 When this month and day of year comes around, those who have experienced this kind of loss are always on my mind. I know that your angel babies are constantly on your mind and heart. I know that you ache to hold them and kiss them and rock them to sleep. I also know that nothing I do or say can help the pain you are experiencing. It is simply my hope that these paintings can help you feel seen and help you feel your angel baby’s love surrounding you. May you feel their warmth and their love in the breeze. May you feel their spirits in the forget me nots, butterflies and dragonflies. When words fail, I will always paint for you. Today, I hope you feel extra supported, seen, and loved. May the love of your angel babies and the love of our Savior fill your hearts and lift you up. The colors of the pregnancy and infant loss ribbon are pink and blue - you will see a lot of pink and blue in the clothing and forget me not flowers of these paintings 🦋💕 Painting titles: 1-2. Among The Forget Me Nots 3-6. I Know He Holds You Among The Stars 7. Among The Angels 8-11. I’ll Meet You Among The Forget Me Nots 12. In His Arms 13. Waiting On My Miracle 14. In His Tender Care 15. He Holds Each Angel Baby 16-17. For Safekeeping 18. Safe With You 19-20. A Heavenly Messenger
Happy Edge Day to all who celebrate! I grew up a lost kid without a dad and this subculture, these people, and hardcore punk rock music in general showed up for me in ways I don’t think anyone will ever know. By following that path I found a way of living and a moral compass that has stayed with me even though I am no longer straight edge. I repped it violently and wholeheartedly when I was younger and I can admit I became the cliché of being true till 21, but what I learned and kept with me through straight edge as a kid and now as an adult in sobriety free from drugs and alcohol, stays with me and has taught me a new way of being true til death. Shout out to the discipline it takes to live this lifestyle for those that were straight edge for a season or continue to be to this day! And shout out Ten Yard Fight and everyone up in Boston for starting Edge Day back in ‘99!
