🪝Hooked by Emily McIntire
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️
I’ve been all about retellings lately and this one did not disappoint! It had a great plot that blurred the lines between love and revenge with some suspenseful twists. Although I didn’t guess all of the twists, I was glad I was right about some even though now I’m questioning everyone’s relationships 😭.
The chemistry between the MCs was absolutely perfect and gave me what I needed as a dark romance lover. I’m always a-little put off by insta lust/love but I think it was done well here capturing “Hook’s” bad boy lure and enticing you in just as he did with Wendy.
Overall, Hooked was a thrilling, sensual read and would recommend if you like dark romance that transforms classic stories 🪝
