Been EATING, SLEEPING, BREATHING in the world of dentistry lately… and I’m not even saying it was healthy 😭😭 Finally catching a small breather until part 2 of boards exam. D4 has been an uphill battle and I can’t wait to be done. Anyone else out there on the struggle bus? Big ups to those who understand 😌 #helpusall

In August 2026, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare cited industry estimates that approximately 40 per cent of spirits and wines in the market are illicit or unrecorded, resulting in estimated annual revenue losses of more than ₦428 billion. While the reported ₦2 billion seizure represents less than 0.5 per cent of the estimated annual losses, the figures relate to different measures and do not, on their own, establish the overall effectiveness of enforcement efforts. The development has renewed public discussion about measures to prevent the circulation of counterfeit and substandard alcoholic products, the scale of ongoing enforcement activities, and the available evidence on whether illicit alcohol trade is declining.
