I know many of you have asked me how to pin a saree when you’re wearing a high-neck blouse. Usually, we ask our husbands or someone nearby for help—but what if you’re getting ready alone and short on time?

Here’s a simple hack I use myself. Because the D’Choli is made with stretchable fabric, it’s easier to put on even after you’ve pinned the saree to it.

I’ve only tried this hack with the D’Choli, so I can’t say how it will work with other blouses. Try it and tell me how it goes. And if you haven’t worn a D’Choli yet, try one and experience how comfortable and convenient it feels. Start with one—and you may find yourself wanting more colours!

Islam Hajjaj, speaking from the Saraya refugee camp in Gaza City, recounts her struggles to support her family after her husband was injured during the genocidal war on Gaza. The injury left him partially paralyzed, unable to work, and bedridden. Despite the responsibility of providing for her children, she turned to work as a domestic worker and in hospitals, striving to secure a livelihood and provide for her family’s basic needs amidst dire living and psychological conditions.

BUNKER77 by JMM

Bunker was the proverbial player. He hired a staff of friends, took meetings with key figures in the film industry, rolled down to the offices of Surfer magazine in a limousine, shamelessly self-promoted. He brought an entourage to South Africa to ride the end-of-the-rainbow waves of Jeffreys Bay, hunt big game, to make a Warholesque film—starring himself of course.
