You will work to be more consistent and still find yourself forced to pick the best among a whole bunch of bad choices available to you under late stage capitalism. You will mess up and harm people. My advice from my own imperfect (but improving) activism? Get good at listening before you speak. Learn how to apologize and repair. If you’re feeling activated, get yourself steady before you do anything else. Find people who will hold you lovingly and ruthlessly accountable. But more than anything you just need to do the thing.
