Recently, I watched a Korean drama called *Do You Like Brahms?*,
and there was a line that really resonated with me.
It also reminded me of my experiences performing in a string ensemble:
”Not every performance can satisfy everyone. If a performance can resonate with some of the audience, that is already enough.“
Actually, I used to feel very nervous before every performance .
I was afraid of making mistakes, worried that the audience might not like it, and so on. But the more I cared about others‘ opinions,
the more nervous I became :(;゙゚’ω゚‘):
It wasn’t until I started focusing on myself,
giving my all in every performance and cherishing the opportunity to be on stage,
that I gradually learned to enjoy the experience.
After the performance, the audience would applaud,
and I realized that it was enough to know that my performance had resonated with them.
The same applies to my art account now.
Sometimes, when I see the numbers drop, I start to doubt myself.
But at the same time,
I remind myself that being able to connect with even a portion of the audience is already something to be proud of (˶‾᷄ ⁻̫ ‾᷅˵).
