Texas Book Festival

Earlier this month, we were delighted to launch our signature literacy program, Reading Rock Stars, in San Marcos. Through this program, we bring nationally recognized authors and illustrators to Title I elementary schools across Texas. Schools receive custom educational resources to help students prepare for and build excitement campus-wide for Reading Rock Stars day and their visiting authors and illustrators. At the end of each presentation, every student receives their very own signed copy of the author or illustrator’s book.

Thank you to the educators in San Marcos for making our first year in San Marcos a memorable one. Thanks to The Burdine Johnson Foundation and H-E-B Read 3 for making our visit possible.
