Here’s a group of movies that I consider straight-up gems, no apologies, no regrets. I know “guilty pleasure” gets thrown around like some kind of shameful badge, but let me make this clear: I don’t feel guilty about any of these. In fact, I could probably crank out a thesis on each one because they’re all pure, unfiltered brilliance in their own bizarre, twisted ways. Sure, some of them might surprise you—hell, they might even surprise me—but that’s exactly what makes them special. These films have depth, they’ve warped my brain, and every time I press play, they pull me back into their vortex of cinematic madness. No matter how many times I’ve seen them, I’m always hooked.
