2 DAYS TO GO! Comment “please” and I’ll send you the link to pre-order my upcoming book, You Can’t Please Everyone 🌟 When you start to overcome your people-pleasing habits, the pressure to perform, shrink, stay agreeable, or mould yourself into someone easier to love also starts to dissolve. And as you return to yourself, your relationships reveal themselves differently. You notice who respects your boundaries and who preferred you without them. Who holds space for your growth and who feels unsettled by it. And who stands beside you with consistency and who only appear when they need something. Healing from people-pleasing doesn’t just make you feel lighter, it also helps you see more clearly. You begin to understand that: • Love isn’t measured by how much of yourself you sacrifice • Loyalty doesn’t require tolerating mistreatment • Compassion doesn’t require self-abandonment • A genuine connection won’t continually ask you to betray yourself to preserve it. As you reclaim your energy, some relationships might naturally shift. And it has nothing to do with you no longer caring, and everything to do with you no longer overextending yourself, carrying connections alone, and confusing being needed with being loved. And perhaps this is one of the hardest parts of becoming yourself. Some people were comfortable with the version of you who had no boundaries, asked for little, and gave too much. Your growth reveals who loves you, and who loved your people-pleasing. If you’re ready to find out who you are beneath the pleasing, performing, and expectations, I wrote You Can’t Please Everyone for you. #VexKing #healing #peoplepleaser #quotes
I’ll happily buy a used car. What I don’t love is not knowing what you’re actually buying. That’s where BMW Premium Selection makes things a lot simpler. Used BMW, but with BMW behind it. #BPS #BMW #UsedCars #SecondHandCars #Collab
