Bicester Scramble. Amazing Aston Martin Wings Assembly. A highlight for me was the remoulded side strakes on the Concorde edition, and learning that the gear paddles were recast from Concorde parts, so that every time you change gear you’re touching the Concorde! Seeing the Red Arrows edition parked in formation was also a treat. Perhaps my fav of the day was a Le Mans Blue F355, with a beautiful interior, which included a pre airbag wheel. So wonderfully uncluttered. Also the Yellow Testerossa that parked adjacent to me. A gorgeous Dino tucked away down the avenues. Merlin power turning up to show the puny gravity trapped cars who’s boss (although the McMurtry Spéirling was there to remind us that now there’s a car that can defy gravity) Honourable mentions to the Lotus Carlton, a stunning green DB4, and the Alan Mann Escort - great to see as I picked up the latest edition of The Road Rat.
