Hey everyone, it has been a while since I have posted outside of my stories! A few days ago I noticed a thread where someone realized they have all these photos they’ve taken somewhere on a hard drive but they’ve never posted. It hit me that I also have many photos of moments, friends, and loved ones that I have yet to share with y’all. For now I’ll probably share photos on Thursdays.
But anyways… this is a self portrait I took 4 years ago nearly to the day. It was April 8, 2021. I had recently moved from East Los Angeles to Dallas due to COVID 19 closures and economic impacts the year prior. In the rush of things I never really had a moment to sit with the feelings of this change. I’ll be honest, I was drowning and depressed. I did not partake in on any of my passions. And yet, I’m not sure what filled me with a sense of urgency this day but suddenly I just went to my backyard and picked up a shirt I’ve never worn and threw on some of my favorite earrings and captured of few shots.
Well then, I’ll keep sharing more photos or maybe collections of photos and update y’all along the way… how I been… where I’m going… we’ll see. Ciao for now 😊
