If love could bring him back he'd be here already. I've never wrote a poem but here's an attempt -- For you, in public (against my nature and lack of creativity lol) His watch's not ended - it's just begun In fields where souls and dragons run You were his queen, his world, his call He guards you still, now beyond the wall His Khaleesi through and through No crown could match what he saw in you A tail turned comet, bright and long Now barks composing heavens song Forever a puppy made of flame A spark of joy, untamed by name No leash, no weight, just gentle balm - Still guarding you with steady calm Not gone, not lost, just past the pale A breath away beyond the veil When the ache begins to bite Look to the stars on quiet nights Love you and damn this mortal coil. I pray you the strength to dance every day in spite of inevitability. RIP Nephew, thank you for everything. Great game indeed 😞
