Bella Scotti

With unbridled enthusiasm and immense gratitude, I am overjoyed to announce that I will be pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Percussion Performance at the University of Texas at Austin as the Percussion Studio Teaching Assistant!! I’m beyond excited to work with @tburritt , @ivan.drums , @rlhuntleydrum , the amazing percussion studio, and the wonderful faculty and community at the @butlersom .

I have *many* thank yous to give…

First and foremost, to my family - your endless love and support have meant the world and I genuinely would not have made it even remotely this far without you, and I can’t begin to express how much I appreciate everything you have done to encourage me in following my dreams.

To my friends and colleagues, across the country and the world - you all inspire me every single day and give me the courage to keep going and believe that our community can make our dreams possible. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by so much talent, kindness, and unquenchable thirst to make the world better through the arts.

To the @pennstatepercussion studio and the @pennstatemusic community - you all are also family. It truly breaks my heart to be finally leaving all of you, but I will cherish the memories made over the past seven years for the rest of my life.

To Dr. @leehinklemusic - for pushing me, supporting me, and encouraging me with all of my antics. I am a far better musician and person beyond what I could have imagined because of your kindness, tenacity, and exemplary leadership.

From the bottom of my heart, truly, thank you all. Here’s to all of the adventures to come.
HOOK ‘EM 🤘🧡
