Neuss ist noice 🇩🇪 . The Basilica of St. Quirinus stands as a symbol of Neuss’s medieval heritage, built around 1209 and completed in the early 13th century. Dedicated to the Roman martyr Quirinus, whose relics were transferred here in 1050, it quickly became a prominent pilgrimage site. The church is one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture on the Lower Rhine, with its distinctive dome added in the 19th century.
