Rewatch The Golden Girls, and you’ll experience three things:
1) You’ll want to call your best friends.
2) You’ll have a sudden cheesecake craving.
3) You’ll probably be in awe of how ahead of its time this show was.

For a series that ran from 1985 to 1992, it was incredibly progressive. The sitcom centered women in their 50s, 60s, and 70s as main characters. Even today, older women characters over 50 years old make up only about 25% of characters in this age group.

The comedy also featured pro-LGBTQIA+ storylines, addressed addiction and domestic violence, and showed older women with vibrant love lives.

To Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia: Thank you for being our friends.

Neighbors, things got heated inside an inside a Zaxby’s restaurant between a man and woman. Cuss words were being hurled from left and right but things quickly escalated after the woman called the man the n word. In return…he hawk spit right her face. 😩

Now, we don’t know what led to the two getting into it…but weigh in below. 👀

President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump sign the "Advancing Women's Health to Improve Outcomes in all Phases of Life" Executive Order, alongside Second Lady Usha Vance and newborn Alec Vance.

Why do all women have small hands? And a big ba.g🤭
