I have heard it so many times that dogs or people who have lost one of their senses, that their other senses become “heightened” No, that’s not true. They just practise more with that secondary sense and rely on it for everything. Practise makes perfect and that’s why I am making Cher use her sense of smell to get her food. She will use her nose to identify food and water, to recognize different people, and to find her way around the house, and outside.
