After a LOT of trial and error, I have found a way to get the official YouTube Kids App onto the newer models of the Amazon Fire Tablet (AND the kids profile!). However, it's not the quickest process, so I've had to split my solution into two reels.

This method first involves having to download the Google Play Store app, which doesn't come as standard on the newer models and isn't available on the Amazon app store. It's not a simple fix, but it's the quickest and most guaranteed method I've found. (In April 2025)

It's possible you might have an older model which has allowed you to get YouTube Kids with no problem! However for those of us not so lucky, this method will hopefully work for anyone with a newer device who is reaching block after block when it comes to getting the app.

If you have alternative methods, please trust me when I say I've considered, and tried, multiple ways of doing this. A lot of the various other apps and app launchers suggested on the internet have not worked for me. Whilst this solution has worked everytime I've tried it.
