Bit delayed on my reviews, but I have recently unearthed my new favourite fine dining restaurant 🥹 Came to try @sixpenny_au to celebrate a friend’s 50th and my god was I impressed. We had our own private dining area which was nice and the service was amazing and professional. All the dishes we tried were plated so beautifully and with extreme detail and all tasted AMAZING! The produce also tasted extremely fresh and it was my first time doing a wine pairing which I loved (and I usually don’t drink wine). They give 3hrs for their dining experience which I loved because I hate being rushed during meals and long awaited catch ups.
At the end of the meal they provide you with the menu of everything they served including the wine pairings (which means they cater it uniquely to what you order on the day). I don’t think there was one dish I didn’t enjoy during this tasting and definitely left very full. It is definitely a luxe experience, but was worth every penny in my opinion ☺️
