To the sport that was my first love. The sport that gave the little girl with the biggest dreams so much. While the journey wasn’t easy, I can finally say after sixteen years, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. This sport has given me more than I ever expected. Little Maddie would never believe the person I’ve become and how much I truly accomplished. I am beyond grateful that God gave me the opportunity to not only do this sport, but to live out the dreams I never gave up on. To my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has been apart of this journey, thank you. Thank you for the countless sacrifices, deep conversations, and belief you instilled in me when I didn’t have it myself. There is not doubt you pushed me to my fullest capability and gave me endless support. To my girls who have become my sisters, thank you for your unconditional love and support through this whole journey. This has been the most memorable, incredible, and rewarding chapter of my life, but it’s time to close this door and open the next chapter 🥹🫶
