At dotdotdot 2024, we had the great honour to invite @evaegermann and @thym_ian to curate a chapter of the program focus 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐖𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄. Picking up on impulses from their outstanding sci-fi documentary fiction 𝐂-𝐓𝐕 (𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐧 𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐧 …), Eva Egermann and Cordula Thym created a film evening that dared to imagine queer crip futures where people with disabilities no longer have to fight for their rights, but can enjoy them as a matter of course.

The works by RA Walden, @justin104films, Kate Caryer @thepinkpowerhouse, @dorothyallenpickard, @lizzyrosequartz, and @seohyel told of empowered representation and resistance, were bringing historical documents of resistance to the fore, and – when nothing else works – brutal satire.
