I was a midwife in Burnley in the 1970’s and the baby in my arms is now a midwife. Here she is @woolkat31 and I remember her birth so well. For many reasons!
Thank you Katie for sharing this with me and bringing back special memories. How lucky was I to ‘catch’ you ❤️ #midwifelife #1970s #memories

🇬🇧🏳️⚧️ STATEMENT OF REPUDIATION OF ATTACKS AGAINST TRANS PEOPLE 🏳️⚧️🇬🇧 We strongly condemn all attacks, discrimination and persecution against transgender citizens. 🏳️⚧️ Trans people were persecuted, imprisoned and murdered under Nazi Germany. History must never be forgotten, and the persecution of marginalized communities must never be normalized. 🇬🇧 Today, we express our deep concern over anti-trans policies and restrictions in the United Kingdom, which threaten the dignity, equality and fundamental rights of transgender people. 📢 WE DEMAND THE REPEAL OF ALL ANTI-TRANS LAWS AND POLICIES! 🏳️⚧️ Trans people deserve freedom, dignity, equality and the full protection of the law. 🌈 NEVER AGAIN! TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS! ✊
