Train k+lls Mom-Of-7 who was Filming Her Morning Jog On Snapchat with her noise-canceling headphones on Thelma Candelaria, 47, has d+ed after being struck by a train while filming her morning jog along railroad tracks in Eloy, Arizona, United States. According to reports, she was recording one train on Snapchat when another approached from the opposite direction. Her daughter, Alaisha, 29, told AZ Family that her mother did not see the approaching train. “She had her noise-canceling headphones on. She was in her own world,” Alaisha said. Investigators told Fox 10 that the train engineer spotted Candelaria between the tracks and activated the emergency brakes. Both trains also sounded their horns. Police found Candelaria de@d at the scene near Sunshine Boulevard and Frontier Street. A broken orange cellphone was also recovered, while investigations continued. Her daughter reportedly pieced together the incident using surveillance footage and her mother’s social media posts. The family launched a GoFundMe fundraiser to support her seven children, including three minors: Symphony (Nani), Evelyn and Max. The family wrote: “Thelma leaves behind seven children, including three minors: Symphony (Nani), Evelyn, and Max. “Her 21-year-old daughter, Shaunia, will now be stepping into the role of head of household, with the love and support of her 29-year-old sister, Alaisha.” Candelaria had reportedly been baptised just days before her de@th. The fundraiser added: “I find comfort knowing she gave her heart to the Lord, but my heart breaks for the children who must now navigate life without their mother.”
