Pamela Horn

Opened today at the Bourse de Commerce, the artist Celeste Boursier-Mougenot has taken over the rotunda to present his mutli-sensory installation clinamen at scale and in resonance with the architecture of this site. The water in the basin reflects the sky through the dome above. White ceramic bowls float across this blue surface, generating melodious, enchanting sounds as the current moves them along. These repurposed bowls are transformed into sophisticated instruments. The title, clinamen, comes from Epicurean physics and refers to the random trajectory of atoms. The visitor becomes a part of a dialogue between matter, architecture, and our human presence. This is both an individual and collective experience. #magnifique! @boursedecommerce
