Next evolution of the lamp. Make it light up. Don't love the socket just sticking up there, need to do something better there. Do love the smart bulb and smart dimmer dial do-hickey. May need to make replacement parts for the dial do-hickey to blend it in a bit better. Next, legs.

And with hosting season upon us, I’ve teamed up with @dusk.com to create a tablescape that’s anything but ordinary! Think twinkling lights, cut glass, playful stripes and a whole lot of atmosphere! 🕯️
You know me, I can’t resist a charity shop find, and when I spotted these second-hand glass bowls, I just KNEW they’d make the most gorgeous hanging lights! A little drilling, some wiring and suddenly we’ve got ourselves a canopy of sparkling crystal. Because why have a normal dinner party when you can dine beneath a chandelier of charity shop bowls?! 😂
And obviously I couldn’t stop there! I transformed the remaining crystal into little table lights, creating this gorgeous icy effect, while these beautiful rattan lamps from DUSK brought the most wonderful warm glow to the whole setting.
Now, can we talk about formal dinner parties for a second?! 😂 I’ve been to far too many where everything is so serious I’ve genuinely wondered if anyone’s actually enjoying themselves!
My philosophy? Inject the stripes, throw in some pink, light ALL the candles and loosen up a little! Life’s too short for boring tablescapes! 💕

I absolutely LOVE how this one turned out. There’s something so magical about dining beneath a canopy of twinkling lights as the evenings grow darker. ✨
