Costa Rica was a dream! 🌺
(Part 2)
Akash and I went on an EF educational tour across Costa Rica - him as a student, and me as a chaperone (one of my besties was the Group Leader!)
We were thoroughly Pura Vida-fied - we learned sooo much, met amazing people, went on epic adventures, ate up the prolific tropical beauty, encountered wildlife everyday, and created so many core memories!
We visited several regions, so I'll share over a few posts.
Our first destination was Tortuguero - a super remote and traditional Costa Rican village located in the heart of the "Amazon of Central America" Only accessible by plane, or a 2hr boat ride through jungle canals. Its shores host critical sea turtle habitats and are very protected. The surrounding jungle is THICK and diverse - teaming with life! Such a colorful place and people - beyond grateful for the time spent there!
