Meet the trio behind Awkward Games 👋🏾

We’re Britt, Brandon, and Jane—a family-founded team who believe connection is everything.

As siblings, we (Britt + Brandon) grew up in a big fam where everything was a competition—best ramen, best “Juicy” verse, best game night vibes.

Fast forward to 2020: in a tiny NYC apartment (Soulection on blast, natural wine flowing), we had an idea—to make it easier for people to connect. Around the same time, Brandon’s relationship with Jane got serious...we like to joke that Awkward Games became official before they became Facebook official.

With Jane’s eye for design, Brandon’s strategy brain, and Britt’s love for storytelling, we spent late nights crafting what would become our first game—Hella Awkward.

Our mission? Spark joy. Strengthen relationships. Bridge cultures. Encourage vulnerability. And make it all hella fun.

As a proudly Black and AAPI-owned company, we’re passionate about representation and creating space for real, reflective conversations.
