This weekend at the @nhl Draft in LA this outstanding young man that you see right here is going to live out a childhood dream as an #NHL organization is going to select @blakefiddler3 from @westernhockeyleague @edmoilkings
Beautiful isn’t it?
With Blake you are getting a two-way defenceman who can shut you down & also create offence up the ice. A player who has a great 5 feet pass & a strong defender who will stop the cycle & a player who will be the leader you want on & off the ice. The skill set Blake has is one of a kind IMO because his Hockey IQ is top notch. He’s today’s player.
Another thing you are getting as an NHL organization.
You’re going to bring in a person who’s going to add to your culture as an organization & a leader in the community.
The intangibles that Blake has in himself is a young man who is humble, kind, caring, respectful, loving, supportive & his compassion for others is among the best you’ll ever meet in this world. That comes from the outstanding job his parents @chrissyfiddler & @fiddler38 have done with Blake & his sister @belfiddler as it’s a team effort. That even extends to both Vern’s family & Chrissy’s family.
A moment like this isn’t done with a small group it’s done with the great support system that has been built around Blake throughout his life.
As we know once you get drafted the work doesn’t stop, it only begins. You will see an even more motivated & dedicated person with Blake.
We can’t wait to see the excitement & emotions in a very positive way this weekend for Blake & his beauty of a family.
Blake you have done such amazing job by honouring your father, your mother & the Fiddler last name. Bella has done the same in this world. The way both support each other in life & in sports is quite special.
You are in great hands with such a great agency in @rsghockey as @alroy42 & his team will have you very prepared for what will be a day you won’t forget.
Enjoy every moment of it, you’ve worked hard. You pushed yourself everyday.
Have fun buddy, this game is fun & you are going to bring a lot of smiles to the organization & its fan base.
God bless you Blake. ❤️🙏🏼
